How far along? By a doctors calculations we are 4 weeks and 2 days! Scary that I know the exact date this time!
Total weight gain/loss: I haven't gained anything yet thank goodness, but I am starting off heavier than I started off my pregnancy with Noah, so I really have to be careful!
Maternity clothes? Nope I can still fit into my normal tops and bottoms :)
Stretch marks? Only the ones that are left from my first pregnancy! This reminds me that I really do need to go buy some Vitamin E oil!
Sleep: Monday I didn't sleep well at all, but that is because I hadn't said anything to Wesley about possibly being pregnant. I woke up at 230am and took another HPT and it was positive. Probably not the best thing to do in the middle of the night as my mind went crazy aftewerds and I couldn't get back to sleep until almost 5am and a move to the couch! Since I told Wes, I have slept fine :)
Best moment this week: Seeing that 2nd oink line clearly on the test, and being able to see Wes' face as he read his anniversary card and realized we were expecting a 2nd baby!
Movement: No but lots of little cramps and some lower back pain already!
Food cravings: Not really. Salty things if I had to say something. funny thing is I really wanted potato chips on Sunday, which we never buy, and that is what I ate to help with the nausea when I was pregnant with Noah. Just odd timing I guess. Oh and salads have tasted especially good!
Gender: Time will tell and we will be happy with whoever God blesses us with. Part of me does hope for a girl though.
Labor Signs: Thankfully no.
Belly Button in or out? In....and if I follow the same pattern as last time it will be in my whole pregnancy!
What I miss: Nothing yet!
What I am looking forward to: Everything! it will be so different because I have been through it was before, but I imagine no 2 pregnancies are the same!
Weekly Wisdom: Never think that you won't get pregnant the first time you stop preventing it! It obviously only takes once!
Milestones: Finding out we are pregnant and making it "1 month" already....I have a feeling this pregnancy will feel like it is going faster than last time! Also having the blood test come back positive, since it came back negative when I was actually pregnant with Noah!!
When I read about the lucky Baby number two I was hoping that you would blog the experience again. I am so excited for you! Your heart is going to grow in ways that you never expected. You already know you are a great mother so that is one thing you do not have to worry about.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
Thanks Trish! I am really looking forward to this pregnancy and of course the baby, but it definitely is different than when you are pregnant with your first. :) I am in no rush though as there is much for us to enjoy here in Hawaii before we pack up and take off somewhere different and begin life as a family of 4! I richly I have been blessed by God!
