14 weeks Welcome to the 2nd trimester!!

How far along?  14 weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: Well I am happy to say that I am back down to 7 lbs total gain! I had a scare there last week that put me even higher than that so I will not be complaining about it now. I don't know what it is but when I have people in town I seem to retain everything! I gain a ton of weight and shortly after they leave it comes back off. I am hoping that a few more pounds will come off but I am not going to hold my breath.
Maternity clothes? of course
Stretch marks? yep - old ones
Sleep: I have been burning up...last night I found a comfortable amount of clothing/blankets and slept so well it was almost scary! I actually only woke up once to pee, and then again a 5am when Noah started crying.
Best moment this week: Having Noah randomly point to my belly and say baby like he finally is starting to understand....but it is sad at the same time too knowing that he won't be the "baby" for much longer.
Movement: Nope not this week
Food cravings: Not that it is a craving but I am starting to look at food like "how easy will that be coming back up?"
Gender: Only God knows.
Labor Signs: Thankfully no.
Belly Button in or out? NE
What I miss: Not having things to miss....pretty much the same things that have been said in the previous weeks
What I am looking forward to: feeling closer to "normal"
Weekly Wisdom: don't rush to do all the house work after your quest leave...do it slowly so you don't feel exhausted
Milestones: into the 2nd Trimester!!

13 weeks

How far along?  13 weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: Let's just say that I might be tossing the scale soon. I think I am up about 7 lbs total so far which is completely and utterly discouraging and I am so po-ed over it I can not even think about it. I know this happened with Noah, but I have been trying really hard to watch what I eat and all. It has been extra hard with my in-laws in town and being on the go, and my tummy has really been giving me issues, but I am sure the weight is probably not going anywhere so it just makes me mad.
Maternity clothes? of course
Stretch marks? yep - old ones
Sleep: I have actually been sleeping pretty well on the air mattress, but I have been lacking some sleep since we were on the go so much. Thankfully my in-laws  are super understanding and don't fuss that I go to bed early and let me take a nap today as well.
Best moment this week: hmmm...I can find one I am sure....Got to go to the Big Island of Hawaii and felt great when I took the anti nausea meds...to bad the side affects from them suck later on :)
Movement: Nope not this week
Food cravings: Still hating food....because it hates me.
Gender: Only God knows.
Labor Signs: Thankfully no.
Belly Button in or out? NE
What I miss: Not puking my brains out and dry heaving all the time!! honestly I thought that things were supposed to get better at the end of the first trimester not worse!!
What I am looking forward to: Feeling better and not puking!
Weekly Wisdom: Remember to rest even when you have company or you might become a cranky bitch!
Milestones: Last week of 1st trimester!

12 weeks

How far along?  12 weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: I don't know how accurate my doctor's scale was this time since it wanted to jump between a few different weights, but I will take the median and say I am up 4 lbs :( Boo. Super disappointed with that number but what can I do about it? ugghhh...
Maternity clothes? of course
Stretch marks? yeah but not new ones
Sleep: Well I spoke to soon about not having to get up int he middle of the night to eat...I had to start doing it again this week.
Best moment this week: I actually got to see our baby on the ultrasound machine! It wasn't a very clear view but there was one baby in there with arms and legs moving all over. We got the ultrasound  look because the doctor could not find a heartbeat with the dopplar machine, scariest moments ever, but Noah hid from that thing too so I didn't freak out to much. But all is well and the baby looked good so far!
Movement: not since last week, although the baby was moving when I saw the ultrasound :)
Food cravings: No I hate food
Gender: Only God knows.
Labor Signs: Thankfully no.
Belly Button in or out? IN
What I miss: hmmm...I could probably name a few things here, but not having nausea has got to rate the highest!
What I am looking forward to: Still hearing our baby's heartbeat since we didn't get to hear it this time around.
Weekly Wisdom: Write down what you want to ask the doctor because you can never remember all of it once you are in there talking to him.
Milestones: Seeing our precious baby.

11 weeks

How far along?  11 weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: As far as i can tell (on my scale which is a little temperamental) I have either not gained any weight so far...or only 1-2 lbs! I will take it. Praying it stays this way a little while longer, but next week I will have a more accurate number when I go to the Doctor's office.
Maternity clothes? of course
Stretch marks? my old ones but they are not any different...yet
Sleep: still waking up a few times a night, but I have been able to go the last few nights without having to eat anything until I wake up in the morning! That my friend is exciting!
Best moment this week: Only having one horrible day of being sick and 6 good ones! Also I participated in an off base Super Garage sale and made $342.50 for getting rid off a bunch of stuff I didn't need or want! Bonus.
Movement: I swear I got a little jab today at lunch! Made me stop, hold my breath and sit there...Wes laughed when I told him.
Food cravings: Not really anything in particular.
Gender: Only God knows.
Labor Signs: Thankfully no.
Belly Button in or out? Still in
What I miss: Not having Heartburn...holy Cow is it bad this time around. It actually burns all the way up into my throat down to my stomach! This baby better have a head full of hair!
What I am looking forward to: Our OB apt next week and finally hearing that precious heartbeat of our little bean.
Weekly Wisdom: Try to be productive on the days you are feeling good because you never know when that bad day might hit. But just be thankful for all of it because the pregnancy in and of itself is truly a gift that many women would trade the moon for.
Milestones: Just feeling better in general!
