Day 9: Photo Challenge

Day 9: A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.

This is my best friend Elaney, me and our sons, in October of 2009. 

     Elaney has been my best friend since the 6th grade when she moved to Belding, joined band, and I was asked to teach her how to play the clarinet! I must have been a great teacher because she beat me out in the chair test. But all that aside she has been right there by my side ever since 6th grade. 

     How would I describe Elaney?... adventurous, witty and down right hilarious. She has a wonderful since of humor and dreams bigger than anyone else I know. She is determined, hard-working and passionate. 

     I have shared my dreams, hopes and fears with her. She is my voice of reason when I can not find my own, a listening ear when I need to vent or talk things out, laughter when I am lonely and she gives advice when I ask for it. 

     Thousands of miles may separate us, and sometimes to much time passes between phone calls and visits, but we pick up right where we left off, never missing a beat.
     And Yes we are the best of friends who somehow even ended up pregnant at the same time, without planning it. and our handsome sons were born 2 days apart!
